Codarity Limited is the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. We are registered in England and Wales under company number 12150682, with our registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. Our business address is 9 Greyfriars Road, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 1NU. Our VAT registration number is GB329657269. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office as a data protection fee payer, registration reference ZB110999.

What we collect
When you contact us. If you send an enquiry we collect your name, email address, the company you mention, a phone number if you give one, and whatever you write in your message. If you book a call we collect your name, email address and the time you booked, along with anything you tell us in the booking questions.
When you browse. If you allow it through the cookie banner, we collect information about how you found the site and how you use it: the campaign or advert you arrived from, the pages you view, how far you scroll, and which calls to action you interact with. This is tied to a randomly generated identifier rather than to your name. If you then send us an enquiry, that identifier is attached to it so we can tell which marketing actually produced the conversation.
What we do not do. We do not buy personal data about you, we do not sell yours to anyone, and we do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
Under UK GDPR we must have a lawful basis for each use of personal data. Ours are:

Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have considered whether our interest in running and improving the business is outweighed by your rights. You can object to that processing at any time, and we will stop unless we have compelling grounds not to.
Cookies and tracking
Nothing that is not strictly necessary runs before you choose. Analytics and advertising are off by default and stay off until you turn them on. You can change your mind whenever you like — the change takes effect immediately, with no need to reload the page.
The table below lists every cookie this site can set, what it is for, who provides it and how long it lasts. It is generated from our live consent platform rather than written by hand, so it stays accurate as the site changes.

We do not sell personal data. We do use a small number of suppliers who process it on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:

We may also share personal data with our professional advisers, or where we are required to by law.
Sending data outside the UK
Some of the suppliers above are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations where they apply, and otherwise on the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission's standard contractual clauses, together with the supplier's own technical safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and booking records for 24 months from our last contact with you, so we can pick a conversation up where it left off. Client records are kept for the length of the relationship and then for seven years, the period we are required to retain accounting records. Analytics and advertising data is kept for the retention period set on each platform, which does not exceed 14 months. When a retention period ends we delete the data, or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where we have no overriding reason to keep it;
- ask us to restrict how we use it, or object to us using it;
- receive the data you gave us in a portable format; and
- withdraw your consent at any time, which is as easy as giving it — use the cookie settings button above, or tell us.
Withdrawing consent does not affect anything we did lawfully before you withdrew it. We respond to any request within one month, and we do not charge for it.
Complaints
If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Changes to this notice
When we change how we handle personal data we update this notice and change the date at the top. The cookie table updates itself whenever the site's tracking changes.
